The frosting is a cool addition and I thought it was the most fun

This play set was okay. These frosting play sets have issues in that the Play Doh doesn't seem to work well with the contraptions.The frosting is a cool addition and I thought it was the most fun. The regular Play Doh sometimes gets difficult to manage and the treats come out a little choppy even after it's rolled it up. I'm not really sure why this happens but it still works out more often than not.
I have several of these play sets and they seem to all come with the small cans of Play Doh. Bigger cans would be better, so it might be a good idea to pick up a few more cans with this and really any other Play Doh play sets. I'm not sure if kids will like this, it might be a bit too frustrating for them.

I really loved play-doh when I was a kid. I used to create all kinds of things and was able to keep my play-doh for a long time before finally needing to get rid of it. However, today's play-doh is completely under par in the quality department. I purchased this set for my 4-year old daughter and she had a blast creating and mixing the items together.
After about a week or so using this the doh tended to get much stiffer and the "icing" doh that came with this had to be thrown away because it kept just sticking to everything and was very gooey by nature. This is not a bad little toy for the kids but just know that you probably won't get the same long lasting enjoyment out of it like we did 20 years ago. The quality is just not there anymore.

My toddlers love playing with this, worth money and does have some small parts but with supervision shouldn't be an issue for 2-3 year olds. Wish the play dough boxes came with a re useable box to store product in but using a plastic bin is fine. The only drawback is the frosting decorator is hard to use even for an adult, you really need to put arm power into it but other than that this will keep little ones busy and entertained.
My kids managed to get five minutes enjoyment out of it

As with all Play-doh products. It's ok. I'm not a play-doh fan. My kids managed to get five minutes enjoyment out of it. A week later it had part scattered all over the house. The plunger really only works with "frosting play-doh" which is much softer.
